Student Scholarships
The Connecticut Pharmacists Foundation is pleased to partner with the Connecticut Pharmacists Association to fund the various scholarships that were established for students pursuing careers in the field of Pharmacy.
Six scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded annually by the Connecticut Pharmacists Association and presented at the CPA Annual Awards and Scholarships Banquet each September.
Eligibility
Scholarship applicants must be enrolled in the Professional Pharmacy curriculum at an accredited school or college of pharmacy (not necessarily in Connecticut) at the time of application, or within six semesters of graduation (Pharm.D. degree) at the time of application.
Application Procedure
Applicants must submit the following material in June for consideration in that year’s cycle. Applications are available online and are also distributed to the area pharmacy schools. Scholarship packets must contain:
- Completed Application cover page with essay
- Letter of recommendation from an instructor of pharmacy or dean of your school
- Official transcript of your grades
